City Lights was good too!
Amongst thrillers, Kahaani and special 26 were way better than most contemporary films.
Salman Rushdie's adaptation of Midnight's children was a fine piece or work.

I am not and will never compare any of your movies or mine with Hollywood or any other wood, expect perhaps Tolly and Lolly[wood]
I am only saying this in regards to Bollywood itself. That these movies are way better than the contemporary cr#@ that Bwood is dishing out every month or so.

Like The Ring, The Grudge, The Departed, Tortilla Soup, Nightwatch, The Birdcage, My Father the Hero, Nine Months, Three Men and a Baby, The Tourist, Twelve Monkeys, City of Angels, Victor & Victoria, The Sound of Music, Ripley's Game, A Common Man (Remake of Hindi A Wednesday!!!), Scent of a Woman, Godzilla (That was the worst remake EVER!!!), The Guardian, Hachi: A Dog's Tale, Last Man Standing, The Secret, Shall we Dance?, Solaris, Vanilla Sky...
To only name a few. I bet the list is even longer and will grow longer with every year.
You see, remaking films from another Country is no privilege only Indian Cinema claims.
So why are they blamed everytime?
Just because they are not so big as Hollywood???
Just because Hollywood is like God of Cinema???
