I enjoyed this movie so much. Been watching all the holiday flicks I've DVRed and so glad I caught this one.
The story was unique and the acting was really great. Good chemistry.
I'm so tired of these people looking for an Oscar winner on the Lifetime/Hallmark channels. This one is worth watching.

I'm an Xmas movie junkie and I adore this one for many reasons. Can't go into them because I'm watching and recording it right now (find myself editing during ads). People are too cynical nowadays. This film is like a Norman Rockwell painting. Also, there is something enviable about falling in love with someone you've known all your life, because you really do know them. And charming about how they fumble towards acknowledging it for years. This part actually seemed real. The sub themes, like the Miss Havisham reference, and novel scenes, including a confrontational true friendship and acts of great generosity, add surprising dimension to what is essentially a feelgood movie.
Just adorable and great chemistry. The principal actors can actually act, not just a pretty face- their reactions are moving and lovely. Warm families, warm fuzzies, and a happy ending. This movie was clearly thoughtfully crafted, so I'm guessing, kudos to the writer and director. Who can ask for more?
