Bears will kill and maul you. If anything humans should use their evolutionary advantage to destroy this rival and wipe them out. They're a threat to humanity.

Bears will kill and maul you? What about all the humans that kill each other? Should they all be exterminated? What about all the animals that are killed by humans each and every day for the dumbest reasons. Humans do more damage to the environment and other creatures then all other animals combined. Bears would just live in their habitat, but dumb humans rather invade their space and put themselves in harms way.

Nature is trying to kill us. We must conquer nature. It's our destiny. From wearing clothes to combat the elements, to inventing technology to kill bears, we will dominate the galaxy as a species for a thousand years.

Stupidity and ignorance such as yours should be punishable by law. Humanity is infinitely more threatening to bear species than they are to us. In the past 20 years, mankind has managed to put all 8 species of bears on the endangered species list due to actions such as poaching and destruction of their natural habitats. That is hundreds of thousands of bears killed by humans for no discernable reason. In that same 20 year time span, the number of human casualties as a result of bear attacks is aproximately 30 per year. If you look at those numbers and see a threat to humanity, please go back to grade school to receive proper reading and counting skills. It is posts like yours that make the sad truth obvious that one need not be educated to post on message boards.
