This is what passes for a Nature Doc. these days??

Is this how they do Nature docs in the U.S?? Give me good Ol' David Attenborough every time man.
All this narrating voices in for the animals and trying to make it seem as though the animals are thinking a certain way etc. is just plasticifaction of nature docs.
Now I know this is Disney and it might be dumbed down a bit for kids but as a kid I wouldv'e rather watched a normal Natural history doc ANY time. This stuff is complete crap. While watching it I could even imagine JC Reilly saying to the producers - 'Really? I have to actually say this *beep* on tape'??

Yeah and it's not fair just to say it's an American thing.I'm Scottish and s*it's dumbed down for kids everywhere now. This Bears movie is just another example of it.THis is one thing, but what annoys me infinitely more is when movie-makers change movies that COULD be great from an 18 or a 15 down to a PG etc. just to make it kid friendly and hence much more profitable.Good movies are ruined all the time.Watch this space on the new Terminator film.

The narrating voice was downright heinous. "Wait up mom!" As if spouting retarded stuff increases the entertainment value. No thanks. 2/10 from me.

David Attenborough is still the man for nature documentaries.

You walk up to children and tell them Santa isn't real, don't you?

Couldn't agree more. Best to watch it with the sound off.

Well, I just watched this to see if appropriate for a 3 year old; and I think it fits the bill.

I did fast forward through a lot because so boring.

Would think an interesting doc would be how this was shot; they showed a little bit of that at the end with the credits .
