Kim never seems to assuage the emotions of the dead.
I get that the show focuses on the problems of the living, but some of the deaths of the "ghosts" or the circumstances surrounding the "ghosts'" deaths are horrible/heartbreaking and seem to be the reason they are still hanging around.
Why doesn't Kim make any effort to send the ghosts/spirits into the light so they and the living can be at peace?
well,the ghosts cant pay her for it (joke) maybe some of it was residual imprints only,and no one needed to pass into the light,also in the Jonathan Bennett episode she does send the murdered girl away with his protective friend and then again we dont see what happens after the show,maybe they choose not to film her if she does help some of them,guess we will never know for sure,or maybe Kim herself could reply to this lol,i am allways a sceptic when it comes to psychics but I do believe that kim is the real deal and have an extraordinary close bound to the spirit world I think she is far to accurate for being a fraud and some things she just cant possible know,even if they are Celebritys,either that or they are all in it together,somehow I find that hard to believe,their reactions and emotions seem very real imo,just look how angry and upset Anthony Michael Hall became when she revealed his drug use.

I did catch that in the Johnathon Bennet ep. (Just caught it last night.) I wish she would send all of the ghosts over and give them peace. (IF they cut out all the annoyingly creepy sound effects and the intro and exits of the episode segments, there'd be plenty of time for it in the shows. ;)
I too am skeptical of alleged paranormal and psychic experts. I think you have to be with so many frauds in the world. But I agree with you, Kim does seem to be the real deal. She does seem to be able to cite many details that wouldn't be easily researchable prior to each meeting with celebs.
And yeah, AMH got so defensive so abruptly - Kim really handled herself very professionally. Whether or not she had been informed about of truly psychically sensed his allegedly almost career derailing bout with alcohol in his late teens, he clearly did not want to revisit the issue.
Ghosts don't have the same makeup as humans. I think ghosts are remnants anyways. The soul reincarnates most likely.
The main thing seems to be just get the ghost into the light. There it probably gets all the counseling it needs.

Actually, she has. She has either helped the celeb to talk to the spirit and send it on its journey and I have also heard her say that she will stay behind to make sure the stuck spirit leave its earthly confines.
Good to know. I've caught up with a few more eps now where she has done that. She seems to do it now more often than she did at the beginning.
