Any other drama this good/funny?

So far I have watched 4 K-dramas:

"A love to kill" (full on dramatic, not what I was looking for);

"Coffee Prince" (very good until the truth about her identity is revealed to him, goes downhill from there on);

"Secret Garden" (I can't understand the fuss, makes very poor use of the interesting body swapping premise, various story arcs poorly developed, too dramatic, too sweet...);

and finally "Kim San-soon" (impossibly funny, not too sugary, not too dramatic, treats its characters (mostly) like real adults with sexual feeling/needs, near perfect).

Is there any other show out there with "Kim San Soon" characteristics?
Does "Mary stayed out all night" fit the bill?
Suggestions about shows from other countries are welcome too!

Hi there.
Just started watching Mary Stayed Out All Night just because Jang Geun Suk plays in it. Have to say he's a lot different in it than the series You're Beautiful. I just finished watching it. Twice. And absolutely loved it! Funny, cute and not too sugary just like I love it!
I just feel like I cant get enough of it either. Been treating myself with all kinds of videos in youtube :)
Music is great too. They all sound amazing. Etc, etc, etc :D

Anyways I havent seen any of the series you wrote down but if you want a great show, You're Beautiful is it! Check out the clips on youtube if you're not sure. Many of the fan videos tend to be sad but the show itself is funny as hell :D Maybe you should check out only the funny clips at first.

It was my first Kdrama and now I kinda cant watch any others because I keep comparing. Well, I have to keep trying because there's so many others I'd like to see...
Also how I discovered YB is a funny thing too. My first Japanese series Hana Kimi lead me to it. Its really funny too. Like laught out loud and ridiculous at times but I love it, love it, love it!

I'm 11 episodes in, and I like it a lot, but I also really really liked Secret Garden, though I usually hate too much sugary sweetness. Guess it hit me at the right time. Really agree with you on Sam Soon, that one was so good.

I thought Little Mom Scandal was fun, and there's not really much of the same ole romance thing going on. And a lot of the storyline is very different from ones you've listed, plus there was premarital sex (ending in a pregnancy, that's not a spoiler) and women working in some sort of club, not strippers, but private dancers. And dealing with living on their own.

I have a feeling you might be disappointed with Mary. But man oh man, the lead is so fine!
