Seriously, this should not be named Ninja. There is very little "Ninja" about this movie, it's more of a generic fighting movie, more so than the first.
There is some pretty good fighting choreography, Scott Adkins is great at fight scenes, especially third last one is cool. But really tho, i was dissapointed all the way through.
Yeah. Not really a proper NINJA sequel - if anything it's like a really crappy prequel.
I wonder if it is produced like a 80's cheap action movie on purpose? The acting is terrible, the dialog sounds like they are reading their lines for the first time - the timing and mood is just way off.
It's like watching an old Van Damme movie, but with better fighting scenes and choreography. Still everybodys acting is just awful.
Completely agree, I feel this movie was an ode to cheap 80's-90's martial arts flicks, filled with corniness and generic lines. Martial arts scenes were decent but nothing really wowed me. Movie wasn't very enjoyable and I found that it dragged, I just wanted it to end half way through.
