A sad trivialization of Stalker

What happens when someone who has watched a classic happens to have nice filming equipment, money and free time? He makes this:

The first two thirds of the movie you don't get what's happening except that it's people's whose reasons and history are unfounded (ex.shooting people for the heck of it),are trying to get somewhere for some unspecified reason. When they get there and the climax is supposed to arrive it arrives but as weak and unsatisfactory.
Meanwhile you are bombarded with an extremely annoying, repetitive and inappropriate song that the director seems to love unconditionally and embeds it into the movie in a way that shows he has no notion of the barrier between diegetic and non-diegetic sounds.Further the movie overflows with bizarre bits that suggest black comedy (ex.picking up a random whore even though you have no regards for her;oops, old man fell dead, lets just bury the guy in the snow) but it's not labeled as black comedy and instead poses as drama. The movie's only redemption is it's short length (1h 19min).

So if you're planning on watching this because you liked Stalker (like me) think again because this flick completely robs the classic of it's thematic, aesthetic and philosophical integrity by trivializing it's concept which is what vexed me the most.

Yes it was influenced. It says so in the general info. And besides,it's pretty obvious.
Anyway,I didn't mean to compare the two movies but rather focus on 'Me Too' itself.

I don't think you're right.I think it's admittedly influenced. BUT if you're right and this is supposed to be an original and professional film than that makes it MUCH MUCH worse and I may have to rethink my rating. Then not only would it be a ripoff but very amateurish for a professional film.
