Justice League?

Has anyone already said this, but are they just fighting the Justice League?

Hyperion = Superman
Zarda = Wonder Woman
Speed Demon = Flash
Dr. Spectrum = Green Lantern

I am not sure who the others are, but I don't follow DC comics. Is this right or am I delusional?

It's pretty pathetic when they actually went as far as to change the color of the Sun to blue so Hyperion would lose his powers! Lame! lol!

I have thought this for quite some time, but when I watched the episode where Thor says to Zarda, "you have an invisible jet" I just thought it was hilarious.

The same thing went on with "X-Men!" If you remember "The Phoenix Saga," a whole host of superheroes had to be created to battle "the power of the crystal!" So many of them were just copies of DC character with one little more than Superman with a Mohawk and blue skin! That kind of plagiarism has been going on for decades going back to the comic book wars! lol!

You're not wrong . It was an pathetic version of JL . They doing it because Justice League is the best superhero team ever .

Even though Marvel's able to put out more movies and animated series, DC heroes are more iconic IMO; esp. Superman and Batman! They're clean, always on the side of right, and are team players! I've always preferred DC over Marvel going back to my childhood with 12 cent comics! They offered more; fantasy stories of Clark and Lois being married or disfigurement through a combo of red, green, and blue Kryptonite! They dealt with topical issues like racism, war, drug issues, and more, unlike Marvel when it was more implied than an outright outrage!

The Squadron Supreme (or the Squadron Sinister as some versions are called) is a longstanding ripoff of the Justice League from the comics. DC comics has their own version of the Avengers too. But I think Avengers Assemble went ever further in having them be blatant parodies. I mean don't think Hyperion's abilities actually are powered by the sun same exact way Superman's are.

MARVEL HEROES AND STORIES DEAL WITH ALOT THINGS TOO AND THEIR STORIES ARE STRONGER AND DEEPER ON AVERAGE THEN DC'S.
Plus marvel's superheros teams are better on average and more interesting.
Marvel is better then DC.

Actually, DC's characters, while often stronger or more alien, are somehow infinitely more humanized and face realistic struggles on average moreso than Marvel's. Plus, DC's strongest arcs blow Marvel's strongest out of the water.

To be frank, at the moment, neither are thriving in comics, but Marvel Comics are now essentially glorified advertising and a political game for the movie with some very rare bits of quality.

Yes, they are a blatant dig at the Justice League. I agree the Justice League animated series was better written than the Avengers cartoons which clearly has a younger target audience in mind.

When theres no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth.

Wow, none of you nerds have heard of Squadron Supreme / Squadron Sinister before?

They weren't created for this show to have a jab at the Justice League.

They were created by Marvel during the 1960s as an INTENTIONAL rip-off of the Justice League and featured in some classic comic stories, as well as a pretty awesome Marvel MAX reboot series.

The old comics tht merged to become DC comics. So ok Stan Lee won the celebrety and peoples hearth contst, but never forget that marvel merged with other comics after D comics did the same some gd years in advance, i find it sad that Stan lee``s rip-offs have gained more popularity than the first and most human like super heroes.

Kids today don't even realize it so they have no reason to believe any of it is against cannon! 

Marvel and DC did unofficial crossovers in the 60's. Squadron Supreme was Justice League, and DC made a team called champions of Angor, which mirrored the Avengers.
