Another religous nutcake

*****SPOILERS SHALL DWELLETH WITHIN******

Everything about this movie made plausible sense up until Rachel began spouting off verses in the Bible as justifications for her vengeance. Aside from the fact that it's been done only a billion times before, I really found it to be cheesy as hell and a little bit insulting to people who follow Judeo-Christian based religions.

Why should anyone care that movies offend Christians? Maybe they should, maybe they shouldn't.

But let me ask you this: When will we start seeing some movies about serial killers who use Talmudic references to justify their killing? How about references from the Koran instead?

There is a huge double standard here. If any writer attempted to sell such a script the producers would immediately hand it back to them and tell them it's too politically incorrect. Or they would change the antagonist to another Christian nutcake and everyone will will die happily ever after.

I don't even consider myself a Christian, but some things really just make me roll my eyes and say, "Great, another crappy movie knocking Christians. They're running out of cheeks to turn." Some cliche's are really just not worth using. I think Rachel's motives could have stood on their own without any religious seasoning.

I think you are Christian ...only Jesus can give salvation .. Hollywood obviously hates that

I think you make a fair point. The whole Sword of Justice thing, as well as the "wedding ceremony", took everything way over the top.🐭
