I found it was odd that after writing her son fake letters for almost his
entire life, Trevor goes to meet his Dad to find out the letters are faked
by his Mom, and yet that is not the first thing he has on his mind when
he returns home?
What an awful situation that would be.
He seems a smart kid. I assume he can understand that she did it out of love. She wasn't just playing some malicious prank on him. She wanted him to feel wanted by his father. A lot happened on that trip, I'm sure he was just happy to see her.
shareLoved this movie. bruce and angie, I can see both sides of your points of view, and I agree with both of them. I imagine Trevor could have been angry at his mother about the letters and might have shown that when he saw her after the trip...but then again, he did go through a lot on the trip, and probably did understand why she did it. Maybe he was conflicted by the emotions he was feeling.
