Jennifer Ehle - still doable...

I've had a thing about that lady ever since I watched 'The Camomile Lawn' many years ago. [Wolf whistles] She really adds something to this movie. You do tend to dislike the over-protective obsessive character she is playing though.

"Doable"? Would you say that to the face of Michael Scott Ryan, her husband and father of her two children?

Would you smile if some stranger went up to your mother, or sister, or girlfriend, or wife and say to them "You are really doable"?

Whatever happened to common decency and respect for females? Do you only see them as objects of your lust, and rate them as either "doable" or "not doable"?

Yes, I think he'd probably laugh and agree. Do you know any females? Seriously now? If you have saw Jennifer Ehle in anything other than this, you might realize that she has a habit of taking her clothes off. If Ms. Ehle was uncomfortable with her role in such movies, and shows like 'The Camomile Lawn', then I'm sure she wouldn't play those parts. Take a hike, Texas Mike... Many actresses cease to be doable after the years pile on... Ms. Ehle however is still doable, and I'm sure her husband thinks so.

Yeah, Dangerman's comments sort of make sense if he is a 13-yr-old kid. Or has the sexual maturity of a 13-yr-old.

Yawn!

What you should be more concerned with is if someone went up to your wife, mother, sister, etc. and said, "You're NOT doable."

Who doesn't want to be attractive/desired? Who doesn't want the people in their life to be attractive/desired?

reply

Jennifer Ehle is indeed beautiful and talented, and THE CAMOMILE LAWN was a great mini-series. And, yes, it's pretty tacky to call Ms. Ehle "doable."

Just make a movie that makes me care, one way or another. I'm open.

reply

Not tacky at all. As I said to the idiot above, if she was uncomfortable doing sex scenes and objectifying herself, then she wouldn't do them. Get a life, why don't you.
