30 seconds into it and I'm already done. I sat and gave it a few more minutes then just walked away. They missed the spirit of the original by trying too hard to update it, big mistake.
I saw it coming from the previews and stayed away from it in theaters, my company is showing it at an outdoor event so I was basically forced to give it a shot but no, I had to walk away...
By my standards, it usually takes two full viewings to be able to form a solid and articulate opinion. Needless to say, no opinion is remotely valid when you have only 30 seconds of back up. As someone who grew up with and still loves Peanuts, I found this film to be a wonderful and genuine addition to their library.
