Phase I Clinical Trials

Were the man and little girl killed by the main character (and is that how he lost his eye - in an "accident)? Is this what we're supposed to assume?

Thanks. I assume that's the case (for the segment) as the man and little girl are the ones that are present for him, and the girl's uncle is there for her.

Is it wrong that, amongst all the weirdness of this segment, I laughed at the slowmo, warped, detuned church bells chiming? 

No, but I think that was his doorbell?

Clarissa asks him if he's ever done anything bad to anybody. But...how does she know that's what causes those with technologically advanced implants (her ear, his eye) to hear and see ghosts? Another guy on here suggested she killed her "not a nice person" uncle with no evident remorse, so that could be how she knows. I'm not so sure if the guy with the eye killed the man in the suit and the little girl in the dress. The ghosts' wardrobe looks too old fashioned. Perhaps they died in his HUGE house in the distant past. It could be any number of things. The point is, it doesn't get more found footage than this. Seeing the action through somebody's camera eye! (And then in the next one, a zombie's helmet cam.)

I thought at the end Clarissa was among the dead people. She appeared with her uncle.

But if the guy had to do something bad to see them then why could he see her uncle and not just the girl and the guy.

And I did vaguely get the impression the girl killed the uncle. perhaps he was a pedo or something.

Perhaps they died in the car accident and he killed them?
