Where's David Henrie?!!!

Seriously, why bother making this movie without David Henrie? And it's so typical of Disney trying to milk every movie/tv show for all its worth. The show ended, it's time to let it go and move on! This is why I'm so disappointed in Selena for doing this again. I honestly thought she was trying to go to the next level in her career, moving on to bigger and better things, but right now she's just taking a few steps backwards and sabotaging herself. She knows that people are not taking her seriously as an actress, and yet she's going back to this? Really?

And no David Henrie, means no JUSTIN RUSSO. What is Wizards of Waverly Place without Justin Russo? How dare they do this without him?

It will be okay. Selena isn't taking a step back in her career: for the first time she is serving as Executive Producer as well as acting. While David was great in the series, he wasn't the main star of the show and he knows this. Besides filming conflicted with a movie he is doing, so he couldn't do the special. As far as taking Selena seriously, well, after her roles in "Aftershock" and "Spring Breakers" I think people will take her seriously even if she does these Wizards specials.

David may not have been the "main" star, but his character was pretty freakin' important to the show. When it comes to Alex and Justin, they really balanced each other out, and he was always there for her every time she messed up.

I'm glad David was doing another movie, and even if he wasn't busy, I don't think he would have agreed to do this because he's actually smart enough to know when to MOVE ON with his career.

I just wish this movie never happened. And what pissed me off the most is that Selena was the one calling Disney to make this movie happen, and it frustrates me because I've always rooted for her since Day 1 and yet she does this? Sometimes I just don't understand her choices. I know she miss her Wizards days, but she needs to stop.

Maybe it's not a big deal, but it's still such a bummer that after doing darker, edgy movies like Spring Breakers, Behaving Badly, Getaway, etc., she goes back to doing Disney Channel. UGH!

I think she is doing this for the producing credit. Like you said, she called Disney. If she can prove she can be a good producer then maybe she can start producing Non-Disney films. She's going back to familiar terrority, because, quite honesty, I don't think she's confident yet to be a producer. This movie is going to be a hit...no matter what we think, and she knows it. I think that's why she is doing it.

I can understand your anger. Selena broke away from Disney and she is doing more grown up roles, and then she steps back into Disney. Selena realizes that Wizards made her the star she is, and I hope she doesn't forget that. I know a lot of fans want this movie, so maybe she's doing this as a thank you to the fans...but beware, this may not be the last Wizards movie.

Just wanted to point out... You guys keep calling this a movie. It's not. It's a one-hour special- About 40 minutes of actual filmed material.

Oh...you see, I didn't know that. I thought this was a feature length movie. I'll still watch it though. :)

Here's a bit of info you might seem interested in knowing about David Henri... I am a poker dealer in Vegas,& had an Opportunity to deal to him.
he is a very nice person, but he can't play poker AT ALL.
I was the ONLY dealer who dealt him a winning hand.
What I thought was cool about him was he has a Scripture from the Bible tattooed on his arm

I was hoping that Bridgitte Mendler would be in this with him.

David Henrie couldn't return due to scheduling conflicts.

Also, don't blame Selena for returning to Disney for another movie. She was an actress way before she turned to music. Disney is what sky-rocketed her career in the first place. Wizards of Waverly Place is what made her famous.

If you where casted to be on a TV show, and began your famous career as an actor, you wouldn't reunite with all your former cast-members/friends for one last go at being the character you started off as?

Also I too, think David should have returned. Sucks he couldn't come back.
