Episode 3

Well, after a very good start, this seems to be running out of steam... Last night, there was far too much of a focus on Paul, who I just don't find very interesting. (No offence to Anatol Yusef - it's definitely the character as written that I have the problem with...) At a couple of points, Eddie Marsan as Andrew was absolutely mesmerising. But, all too soon, it was back to boring Paul and my level of interest plummetted... I am interested to see what happens in the concluding episode. But, I really hope it's more interesting than parts two and three.

I hate the way it seems to go back and forth but not in actuial flashbacks.
How the hell were we meant to realsie those teens on the train tracks were Paul and his wife?
its all over the place. I like it but its not what i expected.
Its trying too hard to be 'arty'.

I agree, there are characters that are fascinating and certain storylines I want to see more of but Paul is not one of them.

It started off so well but it just seems to be meandering along to nowhere with the odd flash of brilliance.
There really hasn't been that much character development so not really sure why the director decided 4 episodes was necessary? Could have probably wrapped this up in 2, maybe 3?

Yeah, this one is hard to watch. must we follow this guy around? Here's Paul looking like a shorter version of the Penguin, here he is getting drunk after he finds out his family has been murdered, here he is dressed up as the poor British man's Mussolini. How is it he looks to be three feet tall in some scenes and two feet tall in others? Here he is smiling as he decides to jump onto the freeway. Oy Vey...
