Yeah so last year I found out my 13 year old friend was a brony and not until now I've really realized what exactly a brony is. Honestly as long as the 13 year old MLP fan is a female, I'm pretty sure it's harmless. I have a little sister that I watch My Little Pony with and I have to admit this show is entertaining with the awesome development of characters, interesting story lines, and cool graphics!

Yes, I think it's ok to watch for a 13 year old to watch.
Don't underestimate your or the kid. Kids are smart enough to figure things on their own. Let them figure things out, after all, life is about learning to figure things out. Each experience at whatever age shapes and makes us grow.
If you have to, be with the kid when you watch this.

It's harmless and I've just seen it.

But, you're still the parent, if it is your kid you're mentioning about (you could be the uncle, for all I know), you get to call the final shot. Maybe you should see it first before seeing it with the child?
