Saturday Night Live

This is what Saturday Night Live used to be: clever sketches and great writing performed by fresh-faced, enthusiastic cast members. The past several years of Saturday Night Live have been reduced to potty-minded humor that only a few preadolescent boys and like-minded individuals enjoy. (Your thirty-something Uncle Tad’s nodding his head in agreement as he sits before the computer screen in his mother’s basement reading this, a pizza in his right hand and a can of Red Bull in his left. Sorry, I digress with a giant run-on sentence.) Saturday Night Live, a once great show "jumped-the-shark" years ago and feeds a limb to the beast several times each season. Another big difference is that the Studio C performers aren't lost in a cocaine induced stupor like the original SNL crew from the 70s, yet they still show a zany, crazed side. Fortunately this also means that these wonderful actors will be with us for a very long time.
I give it a B+ for enthusiasm and effort. I’m sure next season will be an A as these kids hit full stride.

I so agree with you. Very funny, yet I can watch them when my kids are around without worrying.

I live in the past, but not my own.

A little longer and you could submit this as a review.

Thank you for the suggestion. I'll have to figure out how to do that.

You can submit reviews now AFAIK.

Totally agree with you. Not every sketch is gold, but they're all good, and some are great. Plus they seem like a nice bunch of kids (I'm FIFTY, so to me they're practically infants).
