not the worst Christmas special, but it's still not good

now when i first saw the trailer to this special back in 2012 when it came out, i was like "this is gonna be the worst Christmas piece-of-s@#t i seen all year". funny thing, when i actually watched the movie, turns out it wasn't as bad as i thought it was gonna be. there are a couple of stuff that i did find interesting in the movie and admittedly some of the comedy did work, but in a nutshell it's still not a good Christmas special. the plot's incredibly predictable, the animation's terrible (although admittedly it wasn't as bad as in Swan Princess 4 or Foodfight), the script's lazy, the characters are bland - minus the 2 snowkids -, most of the jokes weren't funny and the movie felt like it was trying shove the whole Christmas spirit thing right in our faces. which made the supposed Christmas spirit in the movie feel totally lost. again, it's not the worst Christmas special i've ever seen (it's far from that, i've seen WAY worse), but as it stands, it's not a good one either.
