More "famous" people than before. Liked it better when unknowns were playing roles. Felt real. Now its just star of the week

guessing ur in America watching S03 for the 1st time? S04 is the actual season airing now

in S03, there were quite a bit of known ppl, the 2 u named + Jessica Lowndes, Victor Garber, Dylan Walsh, Brandon Jay McLaren, Chris Klein, C. Thomas Howell, just the ones i can name at 1st glance in S03 that weren't main cast members

in S04 i know Jon Heder and Priscilla Faia from the premiere, although i didn't know Priscilla when i saw the ep cuz i just started a new show w/ her called You Me Her, but didn't recognize anyone by face/name since the premiere & now seen the 1st 5 eps that have aired of S04

personally, i like it both ways, some episodes w/ just unknowns, some having ppl i know

+ having ppl that are known can be a good thing to get people to watch the show based on a guest star, not that it might make much difference as it is ending but if there's any chance that it decides to bring it back, it could be a good thing

i don't have high hopes of it but wish it cuz idk any other shows that have that format & are quite entertaining to watch like this one + i wonder if there would ever be a show nice and similar to it again

Will Sasso from Mad TV was recently on as well, it doesn't bother me when "well known actors/actresses" are on the show every now and then; I think it doesn't hurt the show.

They've also had Corbin Bernsen, Jennifer Beals and Joey McIntyre on the show as well. Always nice to see a familiar face every now and then.

Established actors (familiar faces) should enjoy the wider range in playing killers. Particularly in a show like this, one can try to sell the humanity of one's character.

Jennifer Beals actually does reside in Vancouver most of the time (I think she married a Canadian).

I liked it.. it was kind of like a modern day "Love Boat", when somewhat has-beens are the guest stars.

Ah but Will Sasso's a Canadian so it's a natural fit. Probably gave him a chance to visit home since he's a B.C. boy.

You probably either don't have a great memory for faces unless they're "celebs" or you haven't watched a whole lot of tv from the last 20 years because these "unknowns" pretty much have been in every tv show shot in Vancouver since the 90ies

Except they are almost always the killer

And since it's a show that doesn't try to make you "guess" who the killer is (like all these obvious shows in the CSI, NCIS, L&O, Closer... range) who cares?
