Campbell

Love how in the first episode he's set up as a decent, albeit tough man, and by the end of season 2 he's an absolute monster. Now that's how to flip a character completely 180 degrees.

PS. As a man from Northern Ireland, I must say I was very impressed by Sam Neill's attempt at the accent. A little dodgy at times, but in all honestly, the Ulster accent is very tricky to "do complete right" unless you're a native.

Campbell is such a brilliant character and Sam Neill plays him so well. It's a sign of a good actor when you see the character and not the actor, he definitely ticks that box.

so true. My favorite character 180 degree transition has to be Jamie Lannister though....from throwing a boy out a window to being a respected fan favorite still blows my mind lol

Definitely agree with you there, yet another of my favourite characters from my favourite show. Wish he was still a bit more arrogant like he used to be though lol.

an old post, but i appreciate that, was wondering if that was a protestant ulster accent - it sounds as a variant on a scottish accent.

do catholics and protestants in ulster have different accents, i wonder.
