Really liked May in season 2

I love how determined she was to get Tommy. Her being upfront was also really refreshing. The fact that they were both in pain also made their connection stronger. It's a Shane Grace came back. I hope she comes back in season 4. Just like Solomons did. Especially since Grace is now dead and Tommy wants to buy a new horse. Bring back May!

Yeah, I pretty much fast forwarded through all the scenes with Grace in Season II. I hear she's even worse in Season III, not sure if I'll be able to put up with her or if the season is even worth watching when I'm skipping so many scenes.

There's something about her face/voice/behavior that was so painful to watch. Traded off missing some of the storyline skipping those segments just so I wouldn't have to put up with her.

May was much much better.

It was a nice series overall, but I guess every show needs to have some major flaw. Otherwise how would we recognize great television like Deadwood if we didn't have stuff like Peaky Blinders to compare to?

the actress who plays grace got a nose job between seasons 2 and 3 which honestly, for me, takes away the one likable quality about her. Her nose gave her character...now she just looks like every other boring medium-grade actress...however this is a thread about May, whom I absolutely adore! Im also hoping she comes back next season...now that Grace is dead they have even more in common..I've felt like May was the perfect woman for him for a long time. The way that she wants to be in his life without changing him makes her a good match with him. And of course their love of horses is another common ground... Please bring back May! 😊

Tom Hardy's real life wife. She grew on me, unlike Grace who I liked less as things progressed.

I agree. Grace felt like a strong character in S1 but when she came back in S2 she seemed so needy. Always playing mind games and trying to coax him into professing his love for her. When she met May, the difference in their characters was clear. Grace quipped "Shouldn't you be down with the horses?" to May while May understood exactly what the Peaky Blinders had done and said she would make sure all bets went to Tommy's bookies.

I guess it's true that men love crazy women more! lol
