I am so confused about who is telling the truth...was June the angel and savior for Johnny or was she the train wreck that broke up Johnny's marriage. there are definitely 3 sides to this story and now I have seen "walk the line", seen this movie. and read this article I am certainly very confused but it seems that June was not so innocent. Vivian was not the nagging wife she was portrayed in the movie walk the line either. I am sure it is somewhere in the middle.
I will say in this movie..Jewel looks, sings and her mannerisms are MUCH more like the real June was. google it on Youtube. Reese looked nothing like the real June or sang like her either. I wish they would have put Jewel in the movie with Phoenix as it would have been a much better match IMO. I LOVE Reese and she is a beautiful and good singer however it was not accurate from watching the old videos of June. The actor in this movie was terrible as Johnny and Phoenix was way better.
