Actors.

Half the people on this show are actors

reply

Is it half? Robin's 'drama' of incompetence is less amusing seeing her long list of IMDb credits. Just adds to the Grylls TV Fraud. Not too different from other 'reality' competitions, I guess.

Inadvertently pissing people off since 2008

I wonder if that is why Bear is keeping her on cause she and her husband are really dragging everyone else down. They should have gone home two weeks ago.

I also just noticed that I had seen Robin before when they showed her as a fat woman.

Are you confusing this show with Siberia? Just kidding.....

reply

I know Chris and Jeff arent actors, I've known them for over 10 years. That said, doesnt mean they arent acting for this show..

Louie is an actress. That's not the name she uses though. I was super confused because I know her by her real name and have never known to go by Louie until this show. It was probably for cute nick names. She got the job attending a casting call. Her father is not an actor. Her background is legit, she grew up in and around nature. As did her father.

Robin and Canden seem to be the only two who are actors. It looks like they are the only ones with IMDB pages. I wouldn't even really consider Canden an actor since she only had a minor role in one movie. Skater, are you sure you're not confusing Louie with someone else? According to the bios on NBC.com, her real name is Andrea. I did a search for her on IMDB but didn't see her.

There's this little thing called acting on stage! She's not an actor of film.

I also know Andrea "Louie" well and she is indeed an actress but is doing no acting on this show - it's just a coincidence.

everyone deserves one good scare.

She's a stage actress. Which many of the people on the show could be as well. Reality shows go through casting companies so a lot of people that end up on reality TV shows are actors. They may be actors with specific experience relevant to the show, like Louie is. Except Extreme Cheapskates where they are all pretty much actors making up stories to get exposure on TV.
