I've been hoping for this to happen deep inside, never believed it to be possible though, not after disastrous Just Visiting. But ever since I first saw the final scene of 2nd part, half of my life ago, I was living with the sense of one of the greatest trilogy being unfinished. I really hope they won't screw this up, it looks very promising with all the crew coming back together. And funk you all the haters of the second part :)

This is surprising. Considering how "Just Visiting" tanked and the second film didn't make anywhere near the amount of money that the first one did.

the two frenchs films made plenty money but the american remake was a big flop althought the movie was good and funny jean reno is the best actor in the world
shareI can't believe this! I so hoped for this to happen as I've probably seen the first two movies more than fifty times. Knowing that the third movie was a disaster and Gaumont said they'll never continue the french series I never really expected this news.
Just Visiting was a flop because it was never meant to continue the story, it was just a compilation of the first two french movies dedicated to the US audience.
I really can't wait to see what happens in the third part and I have to admit this is definitely my favorite movie of all times.

shareWell, I can say that im very surprised that this movie will be made) Cant wait really ! I dont care if actors older now than they were in previous 2 movies, i just hope they can deliver good portion of good old satire/humor as it was before ! The director and the actors is the same as in previous two movies (im not count Les Visiteurs in America which was not bad even good movie but it was more of a remake than continuation of the story). So im happy, and hope they can still be funny and deliver to us a solid comedy to complete the trilogy !
I too am pretty siked about this, Les visiteurs is hands down the best comedies i've ever watched.
its happening everywhere, after Les Bronzes 3, sequel to les Bronzes 2 and les Bronzes (French Fried Vacation) which wasn't very good, compared to its predecessors which are considered classic comedies in France, and after Les trois Freres, le retour, sequel to les trois Freres (The 3 Brothers, also a classic) we have Les Visiteurs 3 coming up.
I didn't really like Just Visiting but Les Visiteurs 2 for me was brilliant and Les Visiteurs just as good so im really hoping this one will be in the same level, and after seeing the enthusiasm of Clavier (the star of les visiteurs) in an interview for the film, im not too worried
Can't wait. Looks like it references the end of the 2nd film. 😀
