A thoroughly enjoyable low-budget suspense movie!

I've had the privilege of seeing this low-budget "horror" movie, although it's really more of a drama/thriller with some horror elements to it. The sets and cinematography are moody and threatening, and the acting is passable to good with D'Angelo Midili stealing the show as the mysterious caretaker of the old family home. Catch it where you can; the creative team is a set of film making talents ready to break into the big time. You WILL hear of them soon, so enjoy their early work while you can...

If a machine, a Terminator, can learn the value of human life, maybe we can too...

please dont post stuff on your own movie. you are obviously part of the crew. It's a piece of crap and you know it. that's good for a student movie but thats all.

I liked the movie. At least I wasn't bombarded with foul language, guns, killings, sex and downright bad taste like 90% of the movies up for Oscar nominations such as American Hustle, Dallas Buyers Club, 12 Years a Slave. They are not entertainment. And the language and the underling messages. Just shows how sick USA society is becoming.

This is my first comment on IMDB. I just have to ask... how far out of your mind are you??? 12 Years A Slave was a GREAT movie. Dallas Buyers Club was a GREAT movie. American Hustle was a GREAT movie. How are you even BEGINNING to compare your movie with those movies?? Just be honest here... you participated in the filming of a B rated horror flick, and thats it. There is nothing special about the movie, the actors, the story, the ending.... NOTHING. No one is asking you to come on here and post "oh, my movie sucks but you should watch it because I worked on it"... people are simply saying dont come on the site trying to sell it with BS reviews acting as if you are impressed with the film. Its a student film and the only thing good about it is the cinematography.

12 Years A Slave is "white guilt" propaganda and Dallas Buyers Club is "being gay is righteous" propaganda. Hence, they're both garbage.

I'd prefer to watch The Invoking over Chappie, The Hunger Games, Insidious, Paranormal Activity, Divergent and many more that I won't waste any more time naming.

I've watched lots of horror both big and small budget but this one is a total failure in every aspects...for prospective viewers, take my word, avoid this one at all cost...you'll regret.

I had absolutely nothing to do with this film and I'm not comparing it to Oscar nominated films. --- I personally thought the film was intriguing. And I liked the guy who played the caretaker and there was definitely some tension in the atmosphere. However, I thought the story was underdeveloped. I have an idea what I think happened in the end, but still fuzzy on it. I would give it a C+.

And the acting and production values on it were pretty good, all the more so when the budget was only $11,000!
