From the comments and reviews I've read, a lot of them were mainly about the pacing and dialogue. For me, I didn't really have a problem with those, only because it felt like reality to me. It felt like I was watching an ordinary family during a weekend, filled with drama, laughs, romance, etc. There doesn't need to be action 24/7 to make it interesting.
shareI agree, it was a nice, light little movie and I'm glad I watched the whole thing. The characters were very believable and usually I lose interest watching wealthy fictional characters but not this time. The gathering of a family and their mates has been done so often in movies but I'm almost always drawn in. I think the critics were too harsh with this movie.
