I love Sue Perkins, but...

... this really was very average... Vet comedy was done infinitely better in "Beast" (with Alexander Armstrong and Doon Mackichan), nothing else about it was particularly original and I doubt I'll be bothering with episode two.

Promiscuous and predatory.

Mom and Dad might not have a great problem with her orientation. She can still perhaps give them heirs but it matters not what your orientation. Mummys and Daddys dont like haveing to remember new names every week.

Lee Mack went how many series and never got to lie down with anyone. This looks a bit forced. Unlike the majority of sit com with a romantic side where the male attempts to score are usually failures and treated as a cruel source of humour this looks as though the love interest will be treated seriously unless the target is every bit as predatory etc as Sues character.

Yes a couple of chuckles my main one so far in epsiode one with the dog owner coming out of the surgery with a lamp shade collar [google says Elizabethan collar due to shape] to stop him licking his whatevers. Visual and not overplayed but humerous.

Sue Perkins is a clever lady and can be humerous on panel shows. This might not go as well as Mirandas stuff.

Have to admitt that I turned over a recorded epsiode two after five minutes and watched a recorded documentary about the Flying Scotsman.

Sorry Sue, any chance of a cake instead?

it's nothing special but i am enjoying it as filler material

I second that. Some characters are actually pretty entertaining, but the story - expecially the Eve-plot - has not been as fluent as it could've been.

the eve storyline hasn't worked out at all really. they've established that she is now free but then goes out with someone else etc. it went nowhere in the end
