Philomena

There's a lot of talk about how awful this makes the catholic church and other things I didn't even take away from watching this... I just wanted go say how much I adore the character Philomena. Prior to this I'd seen Judi Dench play much tougher characters, but Philomena was so sweet and so real. She was simple, but wise. Cheerful, but pensive. I empathized greatly with her hardships and loved how she was able to forgive and live a happy, cheerful life years later.

And I'm not going to lie, that trailer of her describing Big Mamas House to Martin is what first attracted me to this picture. No shame. It was funny. I'd love to just watch Philomena/Judi Dench and Martin/Steve Coogan watch that movie in entirety a la Shia Labeouf.

Wildcattin'...Wildcattin'. Pow! I'm gonna go.
