Did Josef SPOILER
Rape his sister?
shareI don't think so. I think it was just a story he told.
shareUnanswerable, I believe. That he used her name in his story is suggestive, but I can't recall anything that would have told us for sure.
"I know he's not real, but we're very close."
When I was watching the movie, and she called and said she was the sister - my first thought was "Holy S, he raped his sister!" But afterwards, I thought that she sounded sensible enough to have reported that to the police, plus she seemed to be calling her brother to check in to make sure he was alright. I doubt she would have done that if he had raped her in a wolf mask. That said, it's vague enough to keep the audience guessing, which makes "Joseph" all the more creepy.
shareRemember, that IF the story is true, Angela would have no idea it was Josef. He was wearing a mask and tied her up and then left her there, tied up.
She would be traumatized, no doubt, but she wouldn't treat Josef any different due to that, because she doesn't know who that was.
Of course, again, IF the story is true.
I hate IMDB's Signature policy...

Some strange dude breaks into her cabin(which we later find out is a short term rental, putting another hole in this story), ties her up and rapes her in a wolf mask and she never says anything to anybody? No WAY is that happening.
I dont think so, he says at some point that he tried being an actor but it wasnt enough because he needed it to be real, he created his own characters.
shareI think it was a fantasy of his.
Let Polly do the printing
No he said that was his wife's name...but it ended up being his sisters name. IMO there probably was no wife it was a bs story and that was the first name he thought of.
shareI don't think so, but I would not put it past him. He is one sick, sick puppy.
Schrodinger's cat walks into a bar, and / or doesn't.
I really doubt anything he said was true.
