Does anyone feel sorry for Josef?

shareNo. He's clearly a sociopath. The video was an act. He put on the act to lure Aaron back to him to slaughter him. If he was truly that lonely, he would've attempted to mend his "friendship" with Aaron, not offed him. It's pretty unbelievable that any sane person would ever even consider meeting up again, any reasonable person would've phoned back the cops and given them the evidence. Yet Aaron didn't do that, and was actually willing to see him again - if Josef truly had a break through and was sincere about being lost and lonely and wanting to fix things, he would've taken advantage of Aaron's generosity/stupidity and kept him around as a friend.
shareYeah, I think it would have actually been more believable had that been the case. A true serial killer doesn't go thru all those steps on so many different occasions to befriend someone over time if their intent was killing all along.
Aaron may have met with him though because he felt it would be the only way to get him to stop stalking and get some relief or comfort not to keep looking over his shoulder.
