Something buyers seem to have in common with property virgins...

Is that they never seem to make an offer. I just watched one where the last home was $9.9K over their $400K budget. It was a $409.9K home, so getting it for $400K (or less) would not be unreasonable. This seems to be a semi-regular occurrence on the show. If they make an offer, it is not reflected on the final sale price screen.

That and they have no vision on the home.
I don't know.... the room is the wrong color, I don't know if I like the fixtures, etc.
All things that can be easily changed.

I give the real estate agents credit, they are nice and just say, "well you can paint it".

Exactly. This is similar to a friend I know that does websites. He experiences frustration because people expect him to make it turnkey. I've heard him say he can set up the site but the content is up to them. I look at some of these homes and think it doesn't matter what the furniture (content) or paint is like, as I won't be using their furniture and can repaint. Apparently "staging" of homes is a big deal for those that lack vision.

The best thing you can do is report + ignore them.

Oh true, staging is a big deal.
It's a big money industry right now for that exact reason.
