They should have gracefully ended the series at S2

I don't see how the producers can gut the show of 4 major characters and think people are just going to spend time investing in a new cast. It would have been better to tie of the loose ends at the send of Season 2 and close up shop.

I agree. I found this show on Netflix and binge watched Seasons 1 and 2 on the weekend. Loved it. I watched the first 2 episodes of Season 3 last night and decided that I won't continue. It's just not the same. I find the new cast and story lines very boring.

Season 3 is rubbish.

I agree. I started watching CL because of William Fichtner and while I did enjoy the story, I downright refuse to watch the show without him.

I agree. I also just watched two episodes of season 3 and i miss the old gang. Those personalities were so interesting and could stand alone yet meshed together so well. Id like to know how the "ghost chasing" ended with Eva Vittoria and if Carl had that talk with Tommy about the "tiger".

I disagree. S1+2 had their charm, and I would definitely have liked to see the show continued with the existing 'staff'. However, after being irritated by the changes at first, I soon realized that S3 brought up a few good storylines as well, and how the "ICC" was depicted seemed more plausible also. I would be very happy to continue watching it - however, unfortunately that seems quite unlikely.

A loss, this was one of the better police TV shows.

I was very invested in the character arcs from S1+2 that ended up going absolutely nowhere! What was Donald staring at with such shock in Eva's room? Did she end up meeting her father? What happened with Tommy and his family? Did Hickman get to talk to Sherry again? I am just getting started with S3 and I find it all supremely frustrating.

I'm assuming that there was no reference back to these stories in seasons 3 or 4? It would have been great for them to provide at least a quick update.

My thought about Dorn in Eva's room was that
since he looked horrified and had tears in his eyes, that Eva was dead.
Correct, there was no reference back. In fact, the very final scene of the last episode ends with the boss thanking the crew at that time for being with him through thick and thin from the beginning, as if whats-her-name had always been there and Hickman never existed. LOL!
