Dr. Jin is a realistic character

I really loved that this series went with realism as far as how they depicted the main character - Dr. Jin. He is a surgeon. If this had been an American film, the hero would have been rushing into sword fights and suddenly become an expert martial artist and swordsman. Lol

Dr. Jinn was in no way a coward but he did not unrealistically go rushing into fights that would surely get a 21st century surgeon killed.

The depictuon of this main character realistically made me able to accept the fantasy premise of time travel.

The only false note was everytime someone was injured, Dr. Jin raises his bloody hands to look at them in shock. He performs numerous, very bloody and very gross surgeries that the camera graphically shows so why his character would need to appear so shocked is a bit over directed. I say over directed and not over acted because it's obvious the actor is told to do this because the camera does a super zoomed close up of his face and hands every time.

That's my only criticism. Other than that, I loved it. That's pretty good out of 22 episodes that's all I had to nitpick.
