There was no indication , the viewers were left to guess , there was no mention about what might be wrong with the boyfriend. Alzheimer can do that to people, that.s why I was asking.
Alzheimer patients can forget what they said or where they are , instantly, the next minute they get up and go.
Rodolfo did give an explanation about why he left the first time, Gloria's son's party. He felt left out. Didn't seem like Alzheimer's to me. He remembered everything and explains why he did what he did. The second time he left, we don't get to find out why, but I think again he got uncomfortable (for different reasons) so decided to split. Or he felt he had to leave because his family needed him. Either way, he just's a jerk to leave Gloria like that.
