Just the looks of the girl tells me this is no good

i'll be honest, i havent seen the film, (just the trailer)

well, i know this is "latinexploitation" but... dont know how to say it, Ernesto Diaz Espinoza, why dont you make this "serious"?
the premise of a deadly assasin woman being hunted is not a bad one, i think it could work with a more serious framework, but just seeing the costume of this super hot chick gives me an instant vibe of "eye candy, not a real film"

it gives the vibe that the only thing worth watching in the movie is how hot she is, i mean, just look at her, looks like a skank in every scene she is, a high profile killer on high heels? well im sorry but that screams "lame movie" to me, i have the internet to look at hot chicks if i want to.

maybe could have tone down the sexyness a few notches and make her a more believable gunslinger woman with a good story? dont know, like Sarah Connor or the Bride in kill bill?

i kinda liked Kiltro and liked Mirageman a lot more, for all the fantasy of the martial arts they had, they showed us a more "plausible" hero, but here? i dont know, i have a hard time buying that girl as a super duper assassin that can take on drug dealers and underworld crime bosses, maybe in japanese anime but not on film

but i repeat i havent seen the film, so maybe the movie is in a more comedic tone that works

Still i applaud Ernesto Diaz Espinoza for being one of the few chilean directors trying to do entertaining films not rooted on politics for the 23948293 time

Just saw it, I went in wanting it to be good, expecting it to be bad, and was pleasantly surprised I was entertained. It is not a serious movie at all, it knows that, and plays up the whole video game thing while running through what could have been a very boring throwback film with little personality. The girl is fun in the movie, though she is not the star at all. The guy in it is decent, almost charming, and does a good job with his part. The action is decent, and there is one moment of the film that would have won me over even if the rest was not pretty good. I won't give you any spoilers, but you will most likely know it when you see it. It is a good fun mindless movie, much more entertaining than most Hollywood fare. At the end they thank many directors who are my faves, so maybe they can make a much better film with more time and money. Watch it and post your thoughts, see if it changes your mind a bit.

the thing is, i'm from Chile and even here (the country of the film) this movie is hard to find, it was on theaters like barely a couple of weeks and i dont see it anywhere on dvd

really bad distribution , torrent will have to do

This just played here in New York City as part of a Latin Festival at Lincoln Center. The guy that directed this also directed one of the segments in the ABC's Of Death, I think he did the letter C. I also saw a movie called Man Of The Year this week, the one from 2003 I think, which is Portuguese. I am guessing this will be released on DVD at some point, but maybe it's not easy to find them even in your country, that I have no clue about. I am interested to see others this guy has done, as it seems this guy is a fan of Tarrantino, David Lynch, Robert Rodriguez, and other directors I am a fan of. Maybe eventually with more money and better scripts this guy can pull off a really good movie!

I saw it on Video on Demand on VTR. It only costs 1.000 pesos.

I was close to thinking it's one of the best of the year (it does a lot of things better than GRINDHOUSE), but the plot is too rushed (it's only an hour and 15 mins. long).

Just the look of the girl tells me to buy the DVD. I haven't seen a woman wear leather so well since Michelle Rodriguez in MACHETE.

I'm curious, the line of the main character when he plays GTA something like "I wish there would be a game where you could make your own music playlist and play it while playing the game" - is this a reference to APB:Reloaded? :)

She is a very pretty leading lady. But the film is also really good fun if you take it for what it is. It's sleazy cheesy hokum but brilliantly entertaining. Well it was for me anyway. Hope all that saw it on here really enjoyed it!
