With Michael J. Fox. Sounds like a ripoff of that.

It's not, though. Though both films are about child actors who are talent agents as adults, "Trust Me" is more noir/psychological thriller than comedy (although there are some funny bits).

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of that first movie. And I'm even happier that it's not a rip-off. :)

Yeah, it does sound like that movie. In fact, the plot outline makes it sound identical to that movie.
