One hour of rude old people + couple of minutes of ridiculous halloween costume that looks pathetic. Sounds good? Who the hell agreed on this costume? I bet you could make a scary one for $2000.

Dont get me wrong, idea was quite good but execution sucked. I recently watched The Pyramid (rating around 5) which was waaay better but still sucked. (monster was CGI, still bad)

If you want to create good oldschool style movie, look at recently released The Guest.

Oh, and if you want to see Werewolf thats gonna scare you- watch Dog Soldiers. That movie was simple (6/10 for me) but compared to this it was a masterpiece.

Im still waiting for good Werewolf movie- is there a curse or something?

It is hard imagine a good one. Werewolf movies are a really narrow premise. You have to have one or more people change. They either hate it or relish it and if the transformation is of poor quality, your movie is dead already. Any sub plots outside of this is just filler and it has all been done over and over again. I, like you, want to see a good one made, but until film makers start defining what makes these movies fail and have spine to put on camera what they are not willing to, this sub genre is kind of doomed.

I think thats the point- poor quality. Take Underworld for example- big budget, etc. And werewolves were not good.

Its just the movement. I have never seen werewolves moving good in cinema. Take a real wolf for example. Its that animal fluid moves. In underworld it was like they was made from sticks. Dog soldiers- even worse, but they wisely operated the camera. If we could see all shots normally the movie would be a joke.

I know you are talking about quality of transformation of the person but for me thats not the issue. Take Jack Nicholson or Wolfman. Its just not doable. Some guy turning to a killer machine because of a bite just doesnt work. Instead, movie could focus on good execution of the monster and some other hero. Werewolf could be the villain from the beginning. Secluded like a serial killer or some *beep*
