Saw an interview with Jay

...and supposedly he will not be in Goon 2 as much as he was in Goon (NOT ENOUGH) because some douchey douches said he was the "Jar Jar Binks" of Goon. He was hilarious and awesome in it, it needed more of him. That was basically my only problem with it. Great, a select group of pretentious idiots deciding my future enjoyment. Ah well, Jay rules and so will this film.

I figured he would be in it less because he is directing.

Yeah I like him but he was the least part of the film I liked. Too much over the top stuff.

reply

Yeah I expected that as he is directing this time around. I hope he can help Seann William Scott out with his performance a little for this sequel. The only knock I have against the first film is sometimes his performance wasn't so great. And a slightly better actor could've added a bit more depth to the character. Still absolutely love the first one though.

Point taken, but to be fair Don Cherry is WAAYYY over the top and that clown is real. :P
