Though she's not credited in the cast (sent an update request to IMDB), did anyone else freak out when Rachel (Danneel Ackles) showed up on the screen along w/ Peyton? I was waiting for Brooke and Hailey to come along. And I love that the parents just happen to be the ones from Family Ties and Kyle XY is aging nicely. This movie is too cute!

I did!! It was driving me crazy I was 99 percent sure that it was her but since it she wasn't listed on the cast I wasn't completely sure. I'm glad to see Hilarie Burton again and Daneel Ackles.

shareI worked with Danneel on TEN INCH HERO and had been trying to find something to do with her again. I knew she was friends with Hilarie so when the producers and Hallmark said they wanted to cast Hilarie, I called Danneel and suggested they both do the movie together. I'm so glad it worked out! We tried to squeeze in a cameo with Jensen (Ackles) but could not make the schedule work with Supernatural. Maybe next time. Hope you all liked the movie. (David Mackay, the director)
