anyone else felt like there was a better chemistry between Marco and Krissy than Krissy and Lance? I honestly thought Lance cheated on Krissy and she was going to hook up with Marco. Her and him (Marco) bonded the first 2 seconds they met, yet saw no sort of bond between her and the boyfriend.

I too feel there is better chemistry between Krissy and Marco. They both hit it off instantly they met, and they are both in the majority of the film. I could see Krissy and Marco being together.

Marco was definitely a prototype of the "gay best friend," although clearly Hallmark didn't want to "go there" because they make it clear that he has a girlfriend, or had one, anyway. And if there was any doubt - they go out of their way to say that he ditches this girlfriend to go to a sports bar. Hint. Hint.
It also looks like they were going out of their way to show that he had "a thing" for Krissy, too, because it looks like he's trying to break her and "Kyle XY" up when he implies that her boyfriend is cheating on her for Jill, and then he shows up at the proposal looking downright disappointed about the whole thing.
But who are we kidding? Definitely the "gay best friend" and an awesome one at that who warranted way more screen-time. I agree that his chemistry was way better. Matt Dallas has always struck me as monotone and expressionless without much emotion, which works for something like Kyle XY where he's supposed to be, but here, he just looked "out of it," for the whole film.
Marko reminded me of Wallace Shawn in his mannerism. That's a compliment by the way.
