A wonderful movie! Question about the setting! :)

This film is adorable! Prior to, I'd never seen anything Autumn Reeser had been in and she's now a favorite actor ... pretty darn adorable :). People in previous comments had stated how irritating they found her character to be...I didn't think so at all; she was a woman passionate about her life and career. I love the story-line, how it unravels, the scenery of Chi-ca-go!! and the messages it provides us while we watch. Excellent film.

One question about where it was filmed...is the grocery store they wind up shopping at together real? What about the pizza restaurant? I've looked around online and am not able to find anything.

Well, since you're from Miami, I suggest you NOT travel to Chicago this time of year! It really gets cold...

Seriously though, that's what I liked about the guy! He loved all of her quirks and idiosyncracies!

As for Autumn? she's 100 percent adorable!

Thought I'd pipe up with this very late reply to your question; the grocery store is the real thing! It's a local market near our shooting location and they were amenable to staying open late for our shoot. The hardest part about shooting in a situation like this is we have to hide all the product names from the camera so we don't get sued by some company for using their product without permission. And yes, the pizza place is the real thing too....

Thanks for your information! :)

It's actually on Hallmark now and I was able to pause the scene where 'Jim's Pizza' is shown. There's a phone number on one of the awnings which turns out to be a real number. The location is:

Jim's Pizza Steak & Seafood
11952 224 Street
Maple Ridge BC Canada V2X6B3.

Another late comment: She's done some more TV movies; one of them "I Do, I Do, I Do" with many of the same cast as the above title!

reply

Yeah!, I saw a part of "I Do, I Do, I Do" but wasn't able to watch due to prior engagements. I hope it comes on again; it was a treat to see her and Antonio Cupo together again. xx

I was disappointed that Antonio and she weren't playing opposite each other.

It was filmed in Canada.

It was a cute, breezy film for the holidays. I had a funny feeling he did not grow up rich. Her vintage c!othes were cool.
