If you were trapped in a N.Y.C. apartment, what films would you . . .

If you were trapped in a New York City apartment, what films would you like to have with you?

There are so many good movies out there, but here is a short list of some of my favorite foreign films:

1.) Open Your Eyes with Penélope Cruz (Spanish)
(The remake, Vanilla Sky with Tom Cruise, is pretty good too.)

2.) Central Station with Fernanda Montenegro (Portuguese)

3.) They Harder They Come starring Jimmy Cliff (Jamaican English)

4.) Cinema Paradiso (Italian)

5.) La noire (aka Black Girl) in (French)

6.) Me You Them with Regina Casé (Portuguese)

7.) Amores Perros (Spanish)

8.) City of Men (Portuguese)

9.) Sexo, pudor y lágrimas (Spanish)
(There is also a remake in Portuguese entitled, Sexo, Amor e Traição)

10.) Talk To Her (Spanish)

It's not like they lived on a desert island, they mentioned owning over 3,000 movies and probably had access to plenty more.

They have over 3,000 slasher and kung-fu films. I think they need a little culture in their lives. Also, they appear to be extremely "white-washed", and don't seem to realize that the rest of the world views them like persons of color.

Anyways, here's some more good movies:

Apocaplypto-(The film was shot completely in the Mayan dialect, the Aztec's spoke Nahuatl, a completely different language. Also, Mel Gibson imported American Indians for the movie. Rudy Youngblood, the star of the movie, is not a Mexican Indian, he is American Indian.)

The Mission-(It takes place in the 18th century in South America. Robert de Niro is in this movie!)

Selena-(filmed mostly in English with some Spanish.)

I'd get a bunch of films about kids killing their parents, and leave the boxes out until they took the hint! ... Maybe lots of movies about escapes,...

This made me LOL all morning long.

To answer the OP, I'd just Netflix and chill.
