Christian propaganda (spoilers)

This movie had some nice surf scenes but it is definitely not a surf movie. I found the writing quite messy while the dialog was forced and felt really unnatural.

The first two thirds of the movie were watchable, but as soon as he gets stung by the jellyfish it turns into sheer religious propaganda: kid dies, talks to jesus and only comes back to life because he promises j-dog to spread the 'message'. The worse is probably the 'real' info during the credits, which tells us how many dozens of miracles this man has made happen through his faith.

In hindsight, the near-death experience would have been much more interesting if we didn't witness it but instead simply saw a changed man coming back. I felt cheated by this movie and can't recommend it.

Oh, man... I should have read your review before I watched this rubbish... and spent 3 bucks on it. It's just propaganda - exactly as you say.

You know what they say... no one with missing teeth wears an Armani suit.
