Theo's final realisation and something the universe couldn't control.

At first, I thought that when he commanded her to love him it was luck, after all, he didnt know he was commanding, which would have been a goof. But it was her luck. Anyway, in the end, when we're watching through Theo's point of view, We see that he is at the same restaurant and he asks the waitress to turn off the music, but it only happens after zak had already said those words. So, in the end, love actually prevailed. She naturally fell for him, it was not an order and I think it was something that even the universe couldn't control, once she kept loving him even after he ordered not to. And maybe, that's what Theo realised at the end.

Thank you for this. I felt the last 3rd of the movie was a bit rushed, but I think yer onto something here.

Yes. They were meant to be, after all.

And neither of them minded a bit whether they had control over it or not - so it truly didn't matter.
