Glad they decided to fix Dazed and Confused...

I agree, I thought this was a pretty good version of Dazed and Confused. Tighter and not as meandering as some. And it was nice to see Page in the laser pyramid doing the bow part again.
You'd have to look on Youtube to see if they're still up, but various raw videos from the nite shows that they got lost coming out of the solo. Seemed to be between Jimmy and Jason, maybe more Jason. They just got lost, jammed for a while, and then got back in. The official film essentially removed the jam and stitched it back up, leaving you with what is really a pretty good version. Really the only major edit in the film, and I think a fair one in that it enhances the value of the DVD without being outright phony. In their previous recordings they never minded leaving minor technical mistakes in if it didn't subtract from the overall feel of the song. In my opinion this particular edit was the right thing to do.
