I saw this at TIFF. It starts off really slow imo. But eventually once the big climactic fight scene at the end (which is really long too). It is definitely worth it. Just thought I'd post this for people watching it and may want to give up before the best part.

I also agree. Climax is so good, it makes up for that long stretch. Needs some cuts.

Yeah some cuts would really help. I love Sono in scrappy punk rock mode like this and Love Exposure, it is so full of energy and life, but I think this needed a touch more discipline overall.

I disagree. The movie was boring and not entertaining. A total waste of my time.

I do not expect any film to be to everyone's taste, but one thing you can't label this film is boring and a total waste of time.
