I agree actually. She's made up and styled in this to make her less attractive to go with her character, but it doesn't completely hide her looks. Especially when she smiles. :)

I saw a very bad and insulting rant video on this sort of topic, about how if a girl is fat everybody will automatically say "oh she is so so pretty!" when it is sort of plain to see that she is not. It was a cruel video but I sort of get what he was talking about. Its like if you say anything bad, you are just hating on fat people blablabla.

I read an article somewhere (google key words, I'm sure there's plenty online) that slim people's brains consider obesity to be the same as disease and it automatically raises our immune system and invokes feelings of disgust.

I don't think she's pretty. Don't get me wrong, it has NOTHING to do with her weight. Her eyes are too close together and they are kind of...popping out literally, it almost scares me.
She's NOT "ugly" and she actually looks nice with some proper make up on her face, (seen it) but um...she's not pretty in a typical way. She's not above average looking, that is. The fact that her eyes are too close together gives her this weird, insane look and I think that's one of the reasons why Rae is perfect for her.
Besides, she's such a good actress, that's all she needs, why does she have to be told that she's pretty? It's like some people are kind of giving her compliments about her look out of pity just because she's obese. There are a lot of "pretty" girls who are over weight. But she's just not one of them. And she doesn't need to be.
I agree. She looks like a regular person and that's what works for her roles! I thought she looked really pretty with the Egyptian makeup she had on when she was masturbating for the first time, though. Like her hair and the eye wings looked really good on her.

I'm quite stunned by what I read her, didn't expect the conversation to turn so ugly, without anyone saying something sensed...
Can I just ask a question: do people who smoke look disgusting to you? Do people who drink too much (even if you can't read it in their face) look disgusting to you? Do people who eat really bad stuff for their body but don't gain (or don't lose) weight look disgusting to you? Or is it just when you think you can "see" it on someone that it disgusts you?
By the way, I know people with weight that are way healthier than thin people, in the way they live and in the way they eat. It's just more difficult for some of them to lose weight than for others, as it is also more difficult for some really thin persons to gain weight (I also know some persons in the case, who have to eat pills in order to keep weight and still, it's difficult for them to keep one or two pounds). But still, they'll be judged on the way the look and not on the way they are (healthy or not). As always. The question of the "health" is just an excuse to justify hatred of some kind without feeling guilty. Because in our society, who dares to go against the argument of (supposed) health?
