why cant americans watch the orginal?

I am now convinced Americans are just stupid. Don't make a remake unless your improving it. The actors in this are crap. The difference between the us and Mexico are too different. Doesn't work.

Whats a signature? I don't know what to write here

well, it's in a border town which is pretty Mexican-ish anyway, Tex-mex I guess is the word, but even if it was 'too different'...how would that impact on the prospects of the show..

Because if a show is not set in the USA they think that it is Game of Thrones (you know, that TV show full of fantasy countries...); thus, if a show is set in another country the broadcasting company fear that they will lose the audience who either doesn't like GoT or watches GoT in the first place for their fantasy fix.

maybe in some exotic cases, I'd like to think of examples, but in this case, jesus christ, even when in Mexico, which surely most Americans have at least done one trip to as tourists, it is a few miles from US border anyway.

they hop backwards and forwards a short car trip either side of the line..

and how Latino-ised is America itself now anyway...FFS two of the leading Republican presidential candidates are or just were, Hispanics.
