Elaine Stritch for all the things she is not a good song singer nor good dancer nor a beauty in anyone's imagination ,she kept going with all her demons and made long lasting career in spite of herself .

I'd say she's had a long career because she's an excellent actress and steals every scene she's in. That still counts for something, right?
